Leaders advises Atlantic Boat in connection with recapitalization

Atlantic Boat Company (Brooklin, Maine) has been recapitalized by a private investor.  Atlantic Boat Company was formed in the mid 1990s when two well-known Maine boat builders, Flye Point Marine and Duffy & Duffy Custom Yachts were merged under the leadership of O.D. Hopkins and his son Nate Hopkins.  Throughout the 1990s and well into the 2000s the business flourished, until the financial crises that began in 2008 caused new boat sales to come to a virtual halt.  Having survived this period when many semi-custom boat builders in Maine shut down, the newly recapitalized Atlantic Boat hopes to capture an increasing share of the market as conditions become more favorable.  Leaders LLC, in affiliation with Sea Glass Capital LLC, provided consulting and advisory services to Atlantic Boat Company in connection with its efforts to recapitalize its business.
